Jerry Cantrell's newly released solo album, "I Want Blood," has been transformed into a spoken-word series. New versions of the album's tracks premiere each Thursday, accompanied by video animations created by Boy Tillekens.

Jerry Cantrell on Facebook; "I was trying to figure out something cool and different for the b-sides of singles. I thought maybe a spoken word interpretation with musical accompaniment would be interesting, so I called up some of my creative partners from Brighten and I Want Blood and they delivered in fine style. 

I was only going to do a couple, but they turned out so well that Joe Barresi suggested doing one for each song, and we put them all on Side D of the album vinyl. I’ll be releasing a different video for each of these pieces every Thursday."
